Description

Linear perspective is a technique that allows you to create the illusion of 3D space on a 2D surface. .

Goals

This project will introduce you to the rules of one and two point perspective

Process

Based on the techniques and demonstrations in the classroom, create a drawing in two point perspective of a studio still life.

Before beginning this drawing refer to the handout on how to draw in two point perspective. We'll do a practive drawing in class together for no grade before starting the actual assignment.

Materials

  • White drawing paper (18 x 24 inches)
  • Graphite pencils HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B ( or any combination of these)
  • Ruler
  • Triangle

 

Evaluation

You will be evaluated on your ability to be draw accurately by using the scientific process of linear perspective.
