CLASS CANCELLED
for Thurs, May 8.
We will meet as usual on Tuesday, May 13th.

Welcome to Art 100/Drawing 1

Materials List

Drawing 1 is a beginner's drawing class that will explore 2d imagery. We will study art-making from a variety of perspectives including art as mark-making and pure gesture ....a Zen approach to art making, if you wish. In the western tradition we find that drawing is often a method for representing the world in as naturalistic a way as possible. Towards this goal we will study traditional skills, like line, value, perspective, shading and narrative.
