description

As advanced students you have more freedom to set your own agenda in class. You may choose any combination of style and technique to practice and aren't required to follow assignments given to Art 105 students. You are also free to work on your quarterly assigned drawing during class time.

Neatness counts so please observe the following guidelines:

  • Place your name on the outside of your portfolio
  • Spray each drawing with fixative so it does not smear.
  • Sign your name on each drawing.
  • Label each drawing, for example, "Tonal Study", "Proportional Study" etc.

For your midterm portfolio evaluation please submit the following drawings.

  • Using the Dream Anatomy website as your image source, make an interpretive drawing of one of the images on 18"x24"gray paper using conte crayons (brown, red and white)
  • Make a self-portrait drawing on 18"x24"gray paper using conte crayons (brown, red and white)
  • In addition to the above drawing submit 5-10 drawings done in class.
