Early American posters were based on original Engllish specifications.
Such early terms as Quad Crown (30"x40")Double Crown (30"x20")
and Double Royal (40"x25") were adopted to a more pratical
format once they arrived in the United States.
They are as follows:
one-sheets (28"x42")
half-sheets (22"x28")
pole posters (14"x40")
lobby cards (11"x14")
Dye -cutting refers to paper that has been especially cut or trimmed
to a shapoe that is not rectangular or square. These shapes can
include just about any shape or form imagineable!
