Field Trip

On Saturday, September 20, we will take a field trip to the Museum of Photographic Art to see Discerning Eye: Southern California Collects.

We will meet at 10am in front of the museum. Student admission is $4.50. Don't forget to bring your National ID!

Directions:
From Interstate 163 and 8 intersection: go southbound on 163 and take the University Ave exit. The exit will put you on Sixth Ave. Continue south. Turn left on Laurel St. which becomes El Prado. Drive to the end of El Prado. Parking is available throughout the Balboa Park.

Welcome to class!

Our goals are to push your skills both technically and aesthetically over the course of this class. We'll build upon your existing knowledge of 2-D imaging as well as your design and analytical skills. By the end of the month you will have researched, conceptualized, and designed a proposal for the new California dollar. We will also use the internet as a research tool and as a means for sharing and developing your ideas collectively.
