 Communicative Experiences

Communicative experiences allow users to talk to each other, share opinions, stories, solutions, give advice, and even misdirect each other (a game of Liar's Dice or Poker).

A high level of control, feedback, and adaptivity fall to participants of communicative experiences.

Examples of communicative experiences:

  • talking on the telephone

  • chatting online

  • discussion boards

  • talking in a foreign language you are just learning

  • playing a game of charades

Social events are organized with the goal of facilitating communication between community members. Dinners, parties, walks and tours encourage people to relax and share information with each other.

Now let's move on to adaptive experiences.
