Now
let's look back and what we've covered and try to sum it all up.
-
Experiences come in all forms; technological,
physical, or conceptual. Successful ones have a uniqueness that
is characterized by unity and cohesion. They do not end in cessation,
but with consummation and finality.
-
When designing experiences for others, begin with clearly defined
goals, messages and reasons
to be.
-
These decisions drive the use of sensorial
media to present the experience to the audience in an appropriate
and supportive way.
-
When addressing parts, be sure to place them
in a continuum that also takes into account all the other parts
and concepts involved with the whole.
-
Strive to understand these concepts on a deeper,
philosophical level, while remembering that you may ultimately
have to implement in a specific, explicit and procedural way.
Because the field of Information and Interaction Design is so
new, there is still lots of thinking and research to be done on
the topic. This means that there are still many new innovations
and opportunities to be uncovered by people like you!
