 Overview

In this lecture you will learn about three fields that contribute to Shedroff's field theory:

  • Information Design

  • Interaction Design

  • Sensorial Design

We will examine the process of turning raw data into information, information into knowledge, and we will at least speculate about how knowledge can become wisdom.

We will focus on the need for clear goals and messages to be established from the beginning of any design process.

We will consider the nature of experience and ask ourselves how we can make user experiences more compelling.

Finally, we will discuss the interaction between our physical senses and the realities of various media.
