"one small patch for man one giant patch for mankind"
|
The Legend
The design for the Keep on Crossin Patch originally began its life
as a proposal for the 2002 California State Quarter Competition.
Judged too revolutionary for the purposes of capitalist currency
art, the idea was banished into the desert where it nearly perished.
After forty days and forty nights it rose again like a Phoenix from
the ashes of the sun. Embued with special crossing mojo, the Patch
can now be seen displayed proudly on the jackets, backpacks and
t-shirts of cross-bearing, cross-platform, cross-dressing, cross-country,
cross-walkers everywhere.
